Nestled beneath the sweeping branches of a centuries-old live oak, this ceremony site exudes timeless romance and Southern charm. Draped in Spanish moss and bathed in dappled sunlight, it creates an intimate yet grand setting, perfect for both micro-weddings and larger celebrations of up to 200 guests. Whether you envision an elegant affair or a rustic-chic gathering, this enchanting spot offers a breathtaking natural backdrop for your vows.
LIVE OAK SITE
Overlooking the tranquil waters of Port Royal Sound, our marsh-side ceremony site captures the untouched beauty of the Lowcountry. With sweeping coastal views, golden marsh grasses, and the soft sounds of nature, this serene setting is perfect for celebrations of up to 125 guests. Whether at sunset or beneath a canopy of blue skies, this breathtaking backdrop creates a naturally elegant and intimate atmosphere for your vows.
MARSH SIDE
Our grand lawn ceremony site offers some of the best of Mitchelville Place’s natural beauty, with sweeping views of both majestic live oaks and the serene marsh of Port Royal Sound. This open-air setting provides a picturesque backdrop for an intimate wedding of up to 100-125 guests depending on the backdrop. Whether framed by golden marsh hues at sunset or the dappled shade of towering oaks, this versatile space blends Lowcountry charm with timeless natural charm.
THE GRAND LAWN
In addition to our on-site ceremony locations, Mitchelville Place offers several other stunning options for your special day. For couples dreaming of a beachfront wedding, we are just a short distance from Fish Haul Beach, where the ocean provides a breathtaking natural backdrop. Our spacious lawn across the bridge is perfect for larger celebrations of up to 200 guests, offering an open, scenic setting. For a more intimate yet grand atmosphere, our majestic driveway oak tree can host up to 75 guests, creating a dramatic and elegant entrance to your vows. No matter your vision, we have the perfect setting to bring it to life.
