The Main House
About the Space
The main house comfortably sleeps up to twelve guests, with three bedrooms and three and a half baths, including our luxurious Bridal Party Suite that is specifically designed for on-site hair and makeup. Each room has been carefully orchestrated to enhance bridal photos and make the day even more magical.
The adjacent Barn doubles as a large indoor event space, which houses a full bar with a two tap kegerator and refrigeration, as well as our Groomsmen’s Lounge, where the groom's party can get ready and relax (Pictures coming soon).
The property also includes two potential ceremony sites overlooking Port Royal Sound and the Grand Lawn, with dinner seating available for up to 125 guests or a standing reception or cocktail hour for 200. An additional site is also available on Fish Haul Beach, for those who wish to say their vows against the backdrop of the Atlantic. On the Grand Lawn is our built-in outdoor dance floor and our photographers’ favorite location: the scenic Ibis Bridge, where newlyweds are photographed taking their first steps together against the beautiful backdrop of the property’s Ibis Pond, which almost always features a pair of nesting white Ibis seabirds. Every design aspect of Mitchelville Place has been well thought out to create the best event experience to offer.

The Exterior Grounds
A former auto-restoration and sailmaker's workshop; this structure has been transformed into an indoor gathering space for private events. Entertain up to 50 guests with an open floor plan, built-in bar and kegerator, plentiful seating and outdoor decks.

The Pavilion & Grand Lawn
Between the House and Workshop lies the Grand Lawn and Pavilion Dance Floor. The lawn is large enough for a 125 person seated reception or 200 person standing reception.

Our Head Coordinator, Nikki, will send you a link with the dates already input and you reserve your reservation through Airbnb. Once you book your travel dates, you will receive an invoice for the event fees incurred and contract.
